Vogue Italia Segregates Black Street Style Photos On Their Website
It’s not an honor, or nice gesture to be featured in a high profile fashion magazine like Vogue only to be listed as the ‘other’. It’s separatism and don’t like it on bit. Our society is deeply rooted in white privilege, disposing of people of color like rags. This is why its even more relevant for people of color to be aggressive and deliberate in living a life that matches up from the inside, out.-Gracie 
When Sharing Difficult Experiences
It helps me to know that I’m not afraid to share my painful life experiences. I have to remember to be unafraid of the people I’m sharing them with. -Gracie
Stroll In My Hood
Took a stroll in my hood tonight. Went to my local bar. Got a drink. A woman named, Diandra Cooper spit either the illest game, or was on some kindred spirit. She looks me square in the eyes, never meeting until then, blowing smoke in my face and says, “You are beautiful. Really, I mean special. I’m not crazy, or drunk, please forgive me. I feel your energy, it radiates, it’s so good! You are on the right path whatever doubts you may have. Youre a blossom. You are here with purpose. You are phucking BEAUTIFUL (as she spelled it out). Wowed me! I thanked her for being honest. For honoring her spirit. For seeing me. For knowing so mch and sharing. I love my hood:)

On Trayvon Martin
In my opinion it’s not about these individual acts of racism, it’s about the way that black males are framed in the larger culture…as being violent, criminals and threats to safety and property. How absurd this genocide, how tragic these losses? Trayvon’s case is rightfully making a spectacle of the entire premise!
Pale Black Boy
Driving along, saw a sweet, young, pale black boy with an enormous Afro in the rear seat of his fathers car. I yelled, “I love your hair!” He smiled and said, dad see people love it! Aw, made my day
